Sensei Sadie Petersen
- Associates degree from Snow College (emphasis in sociology, social work, and Spanish)
- Bachelor's degree from BYU in Elementary Education with an emphasis in Physical Education
- Plan to begin work on my Masters of Public Administration in January of 2011
- Have trained in Bushi Ban since Jan of 1989 -- started taking classes at age 8 1/2
- Began teaching Bushi Ban in 1994 at the age of 14
- Earned Black Belt at age 13 (on Halloween of 1993), 2nd Degree at age 15, 3rd degree at age 19, and 4th degree at age 29
- Taught Aerobics and "Kick Aerobics" (my take on aerobics with real, proper martial arts moves)
- Mostly trilingual (English, Bulgarian, & Spanish) My Spanish got rusty while serving an LDS Mission to Bulgaria 2001 - 2003
- Married for four years this November with two little girls 13 months apart -- both are Future Black Belts
