Dear Bushi Ban Family,
For a few years now Bushi Ban policies stated that we were to raise our fees for students that reach the intermediate belt. Upon our recent trip to the world-wide Bushi Ban Headquarters for our bi-annual black belt test and meetings, we were again informed by Grandmaster Ahmed that we needed to complete this policy.
However, we are keeping the increase minimal - ten dollars ($10.00)per intermediate and above students. Intermediate and above students are required to attend class three times a week. This increase covers some of our costs for having three additional classes per week, longer class times and the need for many of the intermediate and advanced classes to have an additional instructor or two. Those students under contract or who have paid in advance, will not have a price increase until their contract expires. We will complete the increase by October 1st. If this increase puts a great additional financial burden on you, please talk to Master Pierce. I would like to suggest that one Buddy Card sold per month covers the increase. (A lot of money and time was put into the cards to make your tuition burdens lighter - if needed).
Beginning October 1, ALL Black Belts will have a new skills review class on Tuesdays at 7:25pm to 8:10pm. Also, please be aware that kids applications class is taught on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Students only need to attend one applications class per week. Please be aware of minor schedule changes. New schedules are available at the front counter or on the web site.
